The second Early Adopters Tutorial was held in conjunction with ISWC 2009 in Washington DC on the 25th of October 2009. The aim of this tutorial was to enable participants to the get access to early research results and technologies from the LarKC project. Having completed this tutorial participants have the basic skills required to develop their own plug-ins for the LarKC platform and run their own experiments on the LarKC platform. The tutorial was conducted as a full day event, with presentations from experts on the LarKC platform and a series of hands-on exercises designed to introduce the participants to the different aspects of the LarKC platform. This tutorial was based on a similar successful tutorial at the 6th European Semantic Web Conference (ESWC09), and will ensure that also the US-based community has access to the research results from the LarKC project.
